I’m a deals shopping expert who wholly rejects popular buys, but it’s pretty hard to ignore the convenience of the viral Stanley cup after trying it. Now, I can confirm: the fanfare is justified. The vessel is so deep that it takes forever to actually run out of your beverage. Drinks really stay cool or hot to the last sip. The big design even has the nerve to still fit perfectly inside nearly all cupholders. It’s just my duty, as a deal hunter who never pays full price for anything, to tell you that Quencher and IceFlow 2.0 Stanley cups are up to 25% off right this second. But only if you’re fast enough to snatch the deal before it ends!
Price drops on these rarely last, so make a move while you can. Lest we forget, the Stanley Quencher is break-the-Internet famous. Just a few years ago, the cup boasted a 150,000-person waitlist. When a discount hits (as it does so rarely), people snatch up their Quenchers so fast, stock goes to unavailable status faster than any other product I’ve seen on Amazon.
Again, the hype is the real deal Holyfield. Stanley cups, especially on sale, are truly a fine bang for your buck.
The thing is dishwasher-safe, easy to pop open and easy to carry around thanks to its ergonomic handle. Users say it’s even easy for their kiddos to use. I’ve also dropped mine an embarrassing amount of times and the thing is more durable than a steel crowbar. Not a dent or scratch in sight. Plus, the wide opening lets you easily scrub the whole interior, though the double-walled, vacuum-insulated stainless steel cup and lid are both dishwasher-safe.
And YES, newbies, the rumors are true: It keeps drinks hot and cold for a lonnnnng time.
One happy reviewer calls this option the “perfect blend of style and performance” and I have to agree. The brand says the cup can keep drinks cold for up to nine hours or 40 hours when iced, with many reviewers confirming the hype.
“I have tried other products that say ‘keeps drinks cool’ but this is the first one I feel does!” one wrote. There was even a 2023 news story about a car being on fire and the cup surviving.
But coffee drinkers, rejoice, because the Stanley cup will hold you down as well! “My morning coffee stays hot for hours,” one shopper affirms. “And ice water remains cold well into the afternoon, even during summer heat.”

“As a teacher, I carry this with me constantly, and it’s honestly been one of my most-used purchases. The 40 oz size is great because I can fill it once in the morning and not constantly worry about refilling it throughout the school day.
It keeps water cold for hours, even when it’s sitting in my classroom all day, and the handle makes it much easier to carry along with everything else teachers somehow end up holding. I also like that it fits in my car cup holder despite being large.
The straw lid is convenient for quick sips during class, and the Rose Quartz color is really pretty without being too flashy. The cup feels sturdy and well made, and it’s held up well to daily use.
The only downside is that when completely full, it can feel a little heavy, but that’s expected with a large stainless steel tumbler. Overall though, it’s been incredibly practical for staying hydrated during busy teaching days.
Definitely worth it if you’re someone who’s constantly on the go and wants cold water all day.” — Kayla DeMarco“I was a Stanley skeptic. I couldn’t understand what the big deal was or why the internet was freaking out. I saw the video of the Stanley cup surviving the car fire (and I think the ice was still inside). So I tried it.
I drink SO much more water now! I love decorating my Stanley with all the fun accessories and it holds a nice amount of water. It feels durable and good quality.
I’ve had my Stanley for a year now and I’m even considering getting another so I can have one while the other is being washed. They are easy to clean as well because of the metal inside.
There are two issues I’ve had since I got the Stanley cup. Once it was dropped, and the lid broke. Easy to buy more so not the biggest issue. The cup survived the fall just fine, not a mark on it.
The other issue I keep having is my lid gets stuck and becomes hard for me to open sometimes. I have a bad thumb and wrist so often I have to have my spouse open it for me.
It keeps my water cold all day. If I put ice in before I go to sleep it’s still cold in the morning. I love these cups and would recommend them to anyone looking to drink more water. If you like your water bottle you will drink more water and want to bring it with you.” — Carolyn“I bought the Stanley because I lost my other Stanley on a trip I had earlier this year. I will say that this Stanley is great. Ice can stay in it for a long time, but you have to put a lot of ice to make sure that it’s going to stay for a long time. If you just put a few cubes, it’s probably gonna melt within a few hours.
Also, the lid is quite spill proof. I had bought similar style rip off lids for my other Stanley, and they was constantly leaking, but for this one there’s no such issue. Also, this one can stay easily inside of the side of a backpack, However, it will fall out if the pocket is not deep enough. I decided to buy a large carabiner to use to clip it to my backpack and now it can stay properly in it.
Also, this Stanley and it’s lit is quite sturdy. The plastic of the lid is thick and has a nice weight to it. The cup is also of large enough size to put your entire hand into it for cleaning, which is great because that prevents mold from accumulating in it and being unable to be scrubbed out.
My Stanley has fallen out of my scooter’s cupholder two or three times at this point as I was going down a hill, but it survived only with a few scuffs and scratches to the lid and to the metal part of the cup. No dents.” — BlackQweenMars
