Menswear brand Brooks Brothers has opened an exclusive brand outlet in Ahmedabad’s Palladium Mall. The store brings the US based brand’s western style formal wear to the city’s shoppers and launched with its summer collection.
“Discover the epitome of classic style with Brooks Brothers, now at Palladium Ahmedabad,” the shopping centre announced on Facebook. The brand joins a range of international and Indian labels at the mall ranging from Tumi, Kate Spade, Emporio Armani, and Hidesign to Pantaloons, Aldo, Ritu Kumar, Satya Paul, and Coach among others, according to its website.
In store, shoppers can browse garments such as button down, short sleeve shirts, logo polo shirts, and jeans. More formal options such as suits and ties provide wedding, occasion, and office wear options.
Brooks Brothers’ brand history dates back to 1818 in the US and it describes itself as America’s oldest apparel brand in continuous operation. The label was established by Henry Brooks and it introduced its ready to wear fashion in 1849, Gentleman’s Gazette reported. The brand is known for its golden fleece logo and has dressed numerous American presidents.
Palladium Mall Ahmedabad is a development by Phoenix Mills and celebrated its one year anniversary this January. Phoenix Mills runs an array of malls across India including in Pune, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Lucknow, and Indore among others, according to its website.
