Jordan Love active, Jaire Alexander inactive for Packers-Vikings game

Jordan Love is active today against the Minnesota Vikings.

The Green Bay Packers quarterback will officially miss only two games because of the knee injury that knocked him out late in the team’s opener against the Philadelphia Eagles. It’s a best-case scenario for the Packers, who initially believed Love could miss at least a month because of the torn medial collateral ligament (MCL) in his left knee. The Packers won their past two games without Love, but their franchise quarterback returns in time to face the NFC North’s last unbeaten team at home.

It’s far from the ideal scenario for the Packers defense. Cornerbacks Jaire Alexander (quad/groin) and Carrington Valentine (ankle) are inactive against the Vikings.
