Union Minister for Education Dharmendra Pradhan said that the new schedule for NEET-PG will be announced by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) in the next two days.
Mr. Pradhan was speaking in Panchkula, Haryana ahead of a BJP event where Union Home Minister Amit Shah addressed party workers.
The NEET-PG exams were cancelled last week because of the controversy raging over the question paper leak in NEET-UG.
“The date of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, Post Graduate will be announced by the NBE in one or two days,” Mr. Pradhan said.
The comments by Mr. Pradhan come a day after the National Testing Agency (NTA) announced revised dates for three exams that were cancelled.
The University Grants Commission-National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) which was cancelled a day after being conducted on June 18 after the Education Ministry received inputs that the integrity of the exam was compromised, will now be conducted from August 21 to September 4, the National Testing Agency said.
Mr. Pradhan had said the question paper was leaked on the Darknet and circulated on the Telegram app. The matter is being probed by the CBI.
