Boy rapes & kills younger sister in Madhya Pradesh’s Rewa; mom helps cover up crime | Bhopal News

BHOPAL: A three-month-long probe has laid bare a grisly crime in MP’s Rewa – the rape and murder of a nine-year-old girl by her 13-year-old brother, and a shocking cover-up by their mother and two sisters to “protect the only son in the family”.
In fact, when the mother saw the survivor, she was still breathing. But she stood by and did nothing as the 13-year-old went back to strangling her till her last breath, say police.The family claimed she died of a snakebite but police investigation uncovered the disturbing truth. The juvenile, his mother and two elder sisters – aged 17 and 18 – have been arrested. Police say the boy watched porn before turning on his sister.
The incident took place on the night of April 24. The family called police the next morning to say that the nine-year-old girl was lying dead at home.
