A few years ago, Gisele Bündchen penned a memoir titled Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life in 2018, where she opened up about her high profile relationship with Leonardo DiCaprio and why it ended.
Gisele Bündchen wrote, “No longer numbing myself with smoking, drinking and too much work, I was becoming more and more aware of things that I’d chosen not to look at. Was I alone in wanting to do some serious soul-searching while [Leonardo DiCaprio] stayed the same? In the end, unfortunately, the answer was yes.”Later, when the former Victoria’s Secret model spoke to PEOPLE about her break up with Leondardo DiCaprio, she said, “Everyone who crosses our path is a teacher. They come into our lives to show us something about ourselves…”Gisele Bündchen added, “And I think that’s what he was. What is good versus bad? I honour him for what he was.”Much before Gisele Bündchen met the NFL legend Tom Brady, she was in a pretty high profile relationship with Leonardo DiCaprio from 2000 to 2005.The relationship was not a stable one and as per reports, the two did break up a few times in the middle, ultimately ending their relationship in 2005.
