Oasis Announce 2025 Reunion Tour, Ending Nearly 16-Year Lapse in Live Shows

In 2009, Oasis effectively ended its extensive run as a touring group, leaving fans of the UK staples known for generational favorites like “Wonderwall” and “Champagne Supernova” thinking they might never receive a chance to see brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher on-stage together again. Well, that has changed. After 16 years, the band is back. Oasis has announced the domestic leg of its 2025 come-back run, sharing a series of dates slated for the UK and Ireland.

On the road, the brothers will stick to multi-night runs in select locations, beginning with two back-to-back concerts on July 4-5, 2025, at Principality Stadium in Cardiff. After re-establishing the feel for their live show, the group will take it back to the place of their formative years, arriving at Manchester’s Heaton Park for four nights, split into segmented pairs: July 11-12, followed by another pickup, July 19 and 20. Moving sites, the band will reconvene in London for a similar positioning of dates: July 25-26 and Aug. 2-3.

The final live shows will take the group to Edinburgh for a pair of concerts on Aug. 8-9 at Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium. Oasis will close out this touring segment with another double, two nights at Croke Park in Dublin on Aug. 16 and 17. Apart from impending tour dates, the band used their press release to acknowledge Thursday, Aug. 29, will mark 30 years since Oasis dropped their well-received debut, Definitely Maybe, and while also recognizing that 2025 will reach the anniversary occurrence of their sophomore album, (What’s The Story) Morning Glory?

In line with the expected Oasis quirk, the brothers shared a poetic comment, acknowledging the stifling condition in the years that separated their 2009 breakup and current rebuild. They shared:

“The guns have fallen silent.

The stars have aligned.

The great wait is over.

Come see.

It will not be televised.”

Tickets for the UK dates go on sale at 9 a.m. local time on Saturday, August 31, and will be available from www.ticketmaster.co.uk, www.gigsandtours.com, and www.seetickets.com. Dublin tickets will be available from 8 a.m. that same day from www.ticketmaster.ie
