The Columbus Crew have been crowned Leagues Cup 2024 Champions with their win over Los Angles FC.

In a tense match for much of the preceedings, Columbus broke a 1-1 deadlock in a stoppage time flurry thanks to Cucho Hernandez’ second goal of the night and the insurance finish from Jacen Russell-Rowe.

With the win, Columbus qualifies directly to the coveted Concacaf Champions Cup Round of 16 as the Leagues Cup Champions. Runners up Los Angeles FC and today’s third place match winners, Colorado Rapids, have qualified for the Concacaf Champions Cup 2025 who will join the counfederation tournament in Round One.
