GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KJCT) – Ramblebine Brewing Company decided to put man’s best friend into the spotlight during International Dog Day.
“We’re a company that loves dogs, so we’ve tried to go out of our way to build that into part of the culture of what we do here,” said Rob James, Co-Founder & Manager of Ramblebine Brewery.
The brewery offered a special deal: buy a special branded dog toy – modeled after their Junction lager – for a free beer. Their relationship with dog owners is nothing new.
“I think that beer, and breweries, and dogs just go together,” said James. “People, especially in Colorado and the Western Slope love to sit outside, and love to have their furry family members next to them.”
They also celebrated their long-standing partnership with Underdog Animal Rescue, a non-profit organization focusing on rescue, fostering, and adoption in Utah and Southern Colorado.
“They’re fantastic. We love working with them because they have such a solid dialed-in vision of what their purpose is, and we can get behind that,” said James.
To the members of Ramblebine, every day is National Dog Day.
“We’re really fortunate that the community has embraced what we’re trying to do here.”
