Megan Fox featured in Machine Gun Kelly, Jelly Roll song ‘Lonely Road’

Machine Gun Kelly (MGK) and Jelly Roll have released a new song, “Lonely Road,” with a music video in tow that features both of their partners, Megan Fox and Bunnie XO.

The tune is a spin on John Denver’s song “Take Me Home, Country Roads,” but a much darker, and more pop-heavy, country music rendition that features MGK and Jelly Roll reflecting on their love lives.

On the chorus, MGK sings, “Lonely road, takе me home / To the place that we went wrong / Where’d you go now? / It’s been a ghost town / And I’m still here all alone.”

In the video, directed by Sam Cahill, MGK and Jelly Roll play car mechanics who are trying to support their families as they struggle financially.

Both MGK and Jelly Roll navigate different hardships as they work to grow their families.

Megan Fox is depicted as MGK’s pregnant partner in the video. The two look smitten with each other, skipping stones on a lake and standing on a dock as MGK kisses Fox’s baby bump.

MGK sees a final notice on his home when he visits Fox one day. Another shot shows Bunnie XO and Jelly Roll looking at an “infertility diagnosis and management” letter.

The music video, here, is drawing on real life. Jelly Roll and Bunny XO have been open about receiving IVF treatments and their infertility struggles as they attempt to grow their family.

As the video continues on, both couples sit together at a dinner party, pictured praying over their food and enjoying their meal.

“I mean, there is a way we could solve all our money problems man,” MGK says to Jelly Roll later on.

“I know. I can’t go back down that road, Bubba,” he responds.

“Look out for me tomorrow then,” MGK says.

The music video comes to a peak when MGK robs a bank and bolts away on his motorcycle, ultimately getting caught and arrested by the police — but he stores the money he stole away for Fox before he is captured.

At the end of the music video, time fast forwards eight months.

Fox is holding a baby girl, who she brings to prison to meet MGK. He gets to see his baby girl from behind the glass.

“Lonely Road” is the latest in MGK’s foray into country music. Last month, he shared a performance of “Sun To Me,” a cover of Zach Bryan’s song.

Jelly Roll released his album “Whitsitt Chapel” in 2023 and will embark on his upcoming “Beautifully Broken Tour” in August.
