National Daughters Day started far away from Kentucky but the United States adopted the day in recent years to honor the mother-daughter bond.

How to celebrate National Daughter’s Day

Marking the occasion does not have to be an expensive and elaborate plan. There are different ways to observe National Daughter’s Day:

• Spend quality time together: Go shopping, arrange a dinner date, go for a walk. As long as your daughter is the focus, any activity is time well spent.
• Show your gratitude by letting your daughter know how much she’s loved and cherished: A simple “I love you,” or perhaps a little gift can show her how you feel.
