Are you a young sports enthusiast with dreams of being the voice behind the game? Do you have what it takes to call the action, provide insightful commentary, and captivate an audience? The Chicago Sky and Marquee Sports Network are teaming up to give aspiring young broadcasters a unique opportunity to shine!

About the Competition

The Jr. Broadcast Competition is your chance to step into the world of sports broadcasting. Open to youth ages 14 years old or younger, this competition seeks to find the next big talent in sports commentary.

How to Enter

Submit Your Video: Record a video of yourself telling us why you want to be a Chicago Sky jr. Broadcaster. Be creative and showcase your personality!

  1. Fill Out the Entry Form: Complete the online entry form below with your details.
  1. Submit via Google Link: Submit your video through Google link here and make sure the video settings allow us to view it.

Our panel of experts from the Chicago Sky and Marquee Sports Network will review all submissions. Entries will be judged based on:

Clarity and Articulation: How well you communicate and articulate your thoughts.

Knowledge of the Game: Your understanding of the sport and ability to convey the action.

Creativity and Style: Your unique flair and presentation.

Passion for Sports: Show us how much you love the game!

Judging Criteria

Our panel of experts from the Chicago Sky and Marquee Sports Network will review all submissions. Entries will be judged based on:

Eligibility

Nominees must be 14 years old or younger to participate in the competition.

 

Rules

Age Requirement: All participants must be 14 years old or younger at the time of entry.

Original Content: Video submissions must be original content created by the participant. Plagiarism or use of copyrighted material without permission will result in disqualification.

Video Length: Submissions must not exceed 30 seconds in length.

One Entry Per Participant: Each participant is allowed to submit only one video.

Submission Platform: Videos must be submitted through the designated Google link, with proper viewing permissions enabled.

Judging: The decisions of the judging panel are final and binding.

Prize Acceptance: Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Parental Consent: Participants under the age of 13 must have parental or guardian consent to enter the competition.

Conduct: Participants must adhere to good sportsmanship and respectfulness in their submissions and communications. Any inappropriate behavior or content will lead to disqualification.

Waiver of Liability/Publicity Release

  1. Waiver of Liability: By entering the competition, participants and their parents or legal guardians agree to release and hold harmless the Chicago Sky, Marquee Sports Network, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all liability, injury, loss, or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with participation in the competition or the acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize awarded.
  2. Publicity Release: By entering, participants and their parents or legal guardians grant the Chicago Sky, Marquee Sports Network, and their respective designees the right to use the participant’s name, likeness, voice, and/or biographical information for promotional, advertising, and publicity purposes in any media, worldwide, without further compensation, notice, or approval, except where prohibited by law.
