The Los Angeles Rams avoided a dreaded 0-3 start on Sunday by beating the San Francisco 49ers in dramatic fashion. They came back from a 10-point fourth-quarter deficit, stealing a win from the defending NFC champions to secure their first win of the season – a much-needed win, at that.
Matthew Stafford once again orchestrated a terrific come-from-behind win, leading an offense that was banged up and missing the likes of Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua. The defense held the 49ers without points on the final two drives and Joshua Karty delivered the first game-winning field goal of his career.
