Mattison Scores Third Touchdown In Three Games
The Raiders’ lone touchdown of the first half capped off a 10-play, 97-yard drive – the team’s second drive of 90+ yards since the start of the 2022 season. It was jumpstarted on a 54-yard completion from Minshew to wide receiver Tre Tucker. The 54-yard gain was the longest reception of Tucker’s career and set up first-and-10 for the Silver and Black from the Carolina 26-yard line.
Later in the drive, Minshew picked up a key third-and-four with his legs on a full-extension dive. On the next play, running back Alexander Mattison punched in a two-yard score for his third touchdown in three games as a Raider.
Mattison is the third Raiders running back in the last 20 years to have a scrimmage touchdown in each of his first three games of a season, joining Marshawn Lynch in 2018 and Latavius Murray in 2016.
