16 And Pregnant’ star Autumn Crittendon Oxley Dead

Autumn Oxley, also known as Autumn Crittendon, former cast member of MTV’s “16 and Pregnant,” has died, according to police. She was 27. 

In a statement provided to TODAY.com, Henrico County Police Division confirmed Oxley died on July 20 at her home in Henrico County, Virginia, at approximately 3:12 p.m. local time.

“Henrico Police are currently classifying this incident as a death investigation,” the department’s statement reads in part.

Police officers and fire personnel responded to Oxley’s residence following the report of a medical emergency of an unresponsive adult female inside, the statement details. Members of Henrico Fire Department performed life-saving measures but Oxley, whom the police department identified in its statement, was pronounced dead at the scene.

“Detectives are working with the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner on this case to determine the exact cause and manner of death,” the statement continues.

In 2014, Oxley appeared on “16 and Pregnant,” which tracked her pregnancy with her then-boyfriend Dustin Franklin. She gave birth to her son, Drake, on the show. On Facebook, she described herself as a “mother of two little boys Drake and Luke and a beautiful little girl Abigail.”

On July 21, Oxley’s sister, Misty Crittendon, changed her Facebook profile photo. The image shows two young girls and includes the hashtag #justiceforautumn.

Henrico County Police Division is asking anyone with information regarding Oxley’s death to contact its department or submit tips.
