ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Tennessee Titans running back Tony Pollard exited Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills after taking a late hit to the head and neck area in the second quarter. He was guided straight into the medical tent by the athletic training staff.
He was evaluated for a concussion and was cleared to return.
Pollard is the Titans‘ primary running back Sunday, with Tyjae Spears injured. After Pollard, the only other running backs on the active roster are Julius Chestnut and Joshua Kelley, the latter of whom was signed to the team’s practice squad earlier this week.
The Titans lead the Bills 10-7 in the second quarter.
