Medvedev and Tiafoe to open on Day 2

Daniil Medvedev and Frances Tiafoe will face off in the first singles match on Day 2 of Laver Cup Berlin 2024 on Saturday, starting at 1pm. (Match 5)

They will be followed at Uber Arena by Team Europe’s Carlos Alcaraz against Team World’s Ben Shelton (Match 6)

In the night session, starting at 7pm, German Alexander Zverev will taken on Team World’s top-ranked player, Taylor Fritz. (Match 7)

Saturday night’s doubles features Team Europe’s Casper Ruud and Stefanos Tsitsipas against World’s Ben Shelton and Alejandro Tabilo. (Match 8)

Matches on Day 2 are worth two points each. The leaderboard currently stands at 2-2.

Medvedev, ranked No.5, leads Tiafoe, ranked No.16, 5-0 in career meetings.

Alcaraz, ranked No.3, leads Shelton, ranked No.17, 1-0 in career meetings.
