Although Jake Paul was scheduled to fight “Iron” Mike Tyson at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on July 20 on Netflix, the celebrity bout was postponed to Nov. 15 due to Tyson’s medical issues. However, Jake “The Problem Child” Paul (9-1-0) now takes on Mike “Platinum” Perry (0-1-0) in a cruiserweight bout in Florida on Saturday, July 20.
Fear No Man: Jake Paul vs. Mike Perry takes place at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida with a start time of 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT. The main event, which is scheduled for 8 rounds, begins around 11:59 p.m. ET/8:59 p.m. PT.
If you’re not a subscriber, then you can sign up for a 30-day free trial to access the PPV feed. As a DAZN subscriber, you’ll also have access to more than 100 live fights all year long, as well as fight re-plays, highlights and documentaries.
When your free trial is done, you can cancel DAZN with a 30-day notice, or keep watching the streaming service starting at $29.99/Month — you’re essentially getting two months for the price of one month.
However, if you’d like to watch Paul vs. Perry without a DAZN subscription, you can purchase access to the PPV fight straight up for $64.99.
If you’re looking for last-minute tickets to the boxing event, they’re still available on third-party resellers sites, such as Vivid Seats and SeatGeek. In fact, you can use Variety’s exclusive promo code VAR2024 for $20 off at Vivid Seats, or use VARIETY10 at checkout to save $10 off your purchase at SeatGeek.com.
As for the match itself, Paul is favored to win, while it’s unlikely Perry will gain his first win as a pro boxer. This is in part to Paul’s higher knockout rate of more than 66%, compared to Perry — who is still looking for his first win as a pro. But overall, the main event should be a really hot and sticky one in “The Big Guava!”
