Rutgers is a 5-point favorite to stop that brief skid and inch within a game of bowl eligibility with five more to play.

While UCLA limps to the East Coast as losers of five straight games, the Bruins do have encouraging performances in their most recent two contests, a 27-11 road loss to then-No. 4 Penn State and a 21-17 setback to Minnesota.
