Somy Ali, the former girlfriend of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, has recently made headlines by inviting gangster Lawrence Bishnoi for a Zoom call. Somy Ali and Salman Khan dated in the 1990s, and now this unexpected gesture has stirred significant attention, especially given the current context involving threats against Salman Khan from Bishnoi’s gang.
On October 17, 2024, Somy Ali took to Instagram to share a direct message addressed to Lawrence Bishnoi, who is currently incarcerated at Sabarmati Central Jail.In her post, she expressed her curiosity about how he manages to conduct Zoom calls from jail and requested a conversation with him. She wrote, “This is a direct message to Lawrence Bishnoi: Namaste, Lawrence bhai, suna bhi hai aur dekha bhi ke aap jail se bhi Zoom calls kar rahe ho, toh mujhe aapse kuch baatain karne hain. Kripya karke mujhe bataye ke yeh kaise ho sakta hai? Hamari puri duniya mai sabse pasand ki jagah Rajasthan hai. Hum aapke mandir aana chahate hain Pooja ke liye par pehle aapse Zoom call ho jaye Aur kuch baatain teh ho jaye Pooja ke baad. Phir yakeen maniyye ke yeh aapke fayade ki he baatain hain. This post comes shortly after the murder of Baba Siddique, a close associate of Salman Khan, for which the Lawrence Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility. The gang issued warnings to anyone associated with Khan. In response to these threats, Salman Khan’s security has been significantly increased.

In the investigation linked to the alleged plot to kill Salman, the Navi Mumbai police arrested Sukha, a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Sukha was apprehended in Panipat, Haryana, and will appear in court on Thursday. This arrest follows a shooting incident outside Salman’s residence in Bandra in April.
