It’s been a long four years since Apple yanked Fortnite from its app store and now game developer Epic Games has created a new mobile store where iOS users can download Fortnite on the go once more.
But, there’s a catch.
At this time, the new mobile version of Fortnite will only be available for iOS users in Europe. Android users, however, are jumping with joy because anyone anywhere with Android has access to mobile Fortnite.
The announcement comes just in time as the new season of Fortnite, with a Marvel collab, begins on Aug. 16.
Is Fortnite on iOS?

For years, Epic Games and Apple have been in back-and-forth litigation over Epic wanting to launch its own store rivaling Apple’s and so iOS users have been unable to use third party apps. Until now.
With the EU’s Digital Markets Act now in place, it forces tech giants like Apple to make changes allowing rivals like Epic more access to their specific users.
Only time will tell if those iOS users in the U.S. will be able to Fortnite on mobile in the future.
So, if you’re an Android user or a European Apple user looking for how to download Fortnite to play on the go, here’s how to download it via the new Epic Games Store.
Is there an Epic Games mobile app?
