Wipro Chief Human Resources Officer Saurabh Govil has shared the company’s “new hybrid work policy” that it introduced recently. According to this policy, employees will be required to work from the office three days a week and they will also have the option to seek remote working for specific days in a year.
Wipro employees can avail extra 30 days of remote work facility in a calendar year.Employees are required to take their managers approval for the same. Employees can avail this facility on two conditions:
1. 15 days in case of employees not being well
2. 15 days for care giving in case someone in the family is unwell
The new policy is effective October 1, 2024.
“Wipro believes in a flexible work approach, with the goal of aligning to our clients’ evolving needs while prioritizing the well-being of our associates and their professional growth. As approaches to return to office (RTO) evolve, our hybrid work arrangement remains progressive, balanced and aligned with our cultural pillars,” the company said in a statement.
