McDonald’s Collector’s Meal cups are here. How to get adult Happy Meal

McDonald’s is partying like it’s 1999 with new collectible cups.

The new adult Happy Meal from McDonald’s will feature collectible cups that commemorate characters from the chain’s history.

The Collector’s Meal features six cups inspired by past collectibles, such as the Cowpoke McNugget Buddy from 1988, 1993’s McDonald’s Dragster and the Hello Kitty Crew Keychain from 2000. 

Here’s what to know about the collectible cups and Happy Meals.

When will McDonald’s Collector’s Meals be available?

The meals and collectible cups became available on Tuesday, Aug. 13. The meals can be purchased online, at the drive-thru and in stores.

What are the adult Happy Meal glass designs?

There are eight glass designs that come with the adult Happy Meal. The designs for the cups take a trip down memory lane with collectibles from the 80s, 90s and early 2000s.

The designs picked to adorn the fast-food chain’s new line of collectible cups are a blast from the past, a nod to a time when childhood toys and McDonald’s for dinner were some of life’s simple joys.

What’s in the Collector’s Meal at McDonald’s?

The Collector’s Meal is served all day with variations for breakfast and lunch.

Each meal includes the option of:

• A Sausage McMuffin with Egg sandwich, hash brown and hot coffee during breakfast hours
• A 10-piece Chicken McNuggets or a Big Mac sandwich with fries and a soft drink during lunch and evening hours

The prices of the meals vary across the state of Tennessee. Prices are not set in each city, so the cost will vary between locations.

In Memphis, the Chicken Nugget and the Big Mac versions of the meal were selling for $12.79. In Nashville, both versions of the meal were selling for $11.19. In Knoxville, the Chicken Nugget meal was $10.59 and the Big Mac meal was $10.29.
