Ryan Stream is set to perform at the Brooks Isham Performing Arts Center on Sept. 16 to commemorate the Mexican War of Independence with promises of powerful music, motivational insights and multicultural unity.
The event will start at 5:30 p.m. and is free to the public. It will provide a unique opportunity for the community to connect, be motivated, and celebrate shared values.
In a CCSD news release, Stream is described as a celebrated singer, songwriter, and motivational speaker who will bring exceptional talent and an inspiring story.
“His incredible journey from a homeless shelter and foster care to becoming a successful entrepreneur and bestselling author is nothing short of extraordinary,” the release said.
Stream has overcome drug addiction, incarceration and served twice in combat, according to the release.
“Recently featured in Forbes, MTV and TEDx Talks, Ryan Stream has gained widespread recognition for his contributions to communities, including receiving the prestigious Verizon Service Award,” the release said.
The performance will bring diverse heritage with themes of mental health, resilience, and leadership.
Stream’s message includes breaking cycles, fostering patriotism, and inspiring belief in every individual.
