Vince Vaughn’s latest project Bad Monkey, which the star executive produced for Apple TV+ alongside Bill Lawrence (Ted Lasso, Shrinking) will bring comedy to a murder mystery set in Florida.
The series is based on Carl Hiaasen’s (Hoot, Scat, Chomp) best-selling book. Vaughn will be accompanied by classic Florida personalities and, yes, a bad monkey, as he investigates what led to the severed human arm. After the premiere, the series will unfold weekly on Apple TV+.

What is Bad Monkey about?
Andrew Yancy (Vaughn), a former Miami police officer who has been let go, now works as a health inspector in the Florida Keys, but a change detached human arm discovered by tourists allows him to investigate a murder and get his old job back.

Alongside Vaughn, L. Scott Caldwell, Rob Delaney, Meredith Hagner, Natalie Martinez, Alex Moffat, Michelle Monaghan, Ronald Peet, Jodie Turner-Smith and Victor Turpin will feature in the show. Guest stars will include John Ortiz, Zach Braff and singer Charlotte Lawrence (daughter of EP Bill Lawrence) in her television debut.
