Kaleb Brown, Leshon Williams opt out of 2024 season

After a quiet first month of the season, wide receiver Kaleb Brown has decided to look ahead to next year.

Brown announced Monday he will miss the rest of the season while taking a redshirt, allowing him to preserve another year of eligibility. Iowa later clarified that Brown will enter the transfer portal when it opens in December.

Running back Leshon Williams, the Hawkeyes’ leading rusher a year ago, also announced his decision to transfer.
