Taylor Townsend dominates in return to Cincinnati

No. 12 seed Taylor Townsend played her way into the main draw with a dominant 6-0, 6-3 victory over fellow American Katie Volynets Monday afternoon. Townsend, a Wimbledon doubles champion earlier this year, won a doubles title at the Cincinnati Open in 2023 with partner Alycia Parks.
