Infosys has lost a top-level executive. The company informed Bombay Stock Exchange in a filing that Hemant Lamba, Executive Vice President and Global Head of Strategic Sales, has resigned from the company. UK-based Lamba has been with Infosys for over seven years. He joined the company in December 2016 as SVP and Global Head, Large Deals & Strategic Sales in December 2016.
In his resignation letter marked to Infosys CEO Salil Parekh, Lamba wrote: “I am writing to inform you of my decision to resign from the services of Infosys.I am thankful for the opportunity and experiences I have had over the years.”

“As a member of Infosys’ executive leadership team (reporting directly to the CEO), I have global responsibility for Infosys’ Strategic Sales across all vertical segments and industries,” is how Lamba described his role at the Indian IT giant. This was Lamba’s second stint at Infosys, which he first joined in the year 2009 as Associate Vice President (Banking & Capital Markets – Europe.
