How to watch series finale on Roku channel

2024-07-13 16:40:02

The Yankees are playing their final game ahead of the All-Star Break in a matchup against the Orioles on Sunday afternoon.

However, Sunday’s matinee has a twist to it: the series finale between these AL East powerhouses will air on Roku TV.

Here’s more on what you need to know on how to watch the Yankees take on the Orioles this Sunday:

What, time channel is Yankees vs Orioles on Sunday?

Sunday’s contest will be the earliest game either team plays this season, with first pitch slated for 11:35 a.m. at Camden Yards. The game will be broadcast on the aforementioned Roku channel, which is a part of MLB Sunday Leadoff on Roku, the inaugural season of this platform showing MLB games.

Is Sunday’s Yankees vs Orioles matchup free on Roku Channel?

Yes. It’s blackout free (both in and out of market) with no subscription required to catch the game.

Do I need a Roku TV to access Yankees vs Orioles on Sunday?

You don’t. While it’d be more accessible if you have a Roku TV, fans can obtain the game on therokuchannel.com, or via Amazon Fire devices, Google TVs or Samsung TVs.

Need to stream? No worries as the game is also available on the Roku mobile app for those on the go.

Will the Yankees be playing on the Roku channel any more in 2024?

Sunday’s affair is the only time the Bronx Bombers will appear in the Sunday MLB Leadoff game on Roku.

Meanwhile, the Mets do have a game on the channel, when they host the Marlins on Sunday, Aug. 18 at 12:05 p.m. at Citi Field.

The Yankees-Orioles matchup marks the halfway point for the service this season as they had the rights to 18 exclusive regular season games this year.

It debuted with a May 19 matchup between the Red Sox and Cardinals and will finish up on Sept. 15 in a game between the Reds and Twins at 1:05 p.m.
