During his first news conference in months — while answering the first media question — President Joe Biden called his vice president, Kamala Harris “Vice President Trump.”

The goof came shortly after the embattled president mistakenly referred to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy as Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Did Biden call Trump his vice president?

During his first news conference in months, Biden mistakenly called Vice President Kamala Harris “Vice President Trump” while answering his very first question.

“I wouldn’t have picked Vice President Trump to be vice president if I didn’t think she’s not qualified to be president,” he said.

Did Biden call Zelenskyy Putin?

President Joe Biden mistakenly called Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy “President Putin” after addressing the NATO summit in Washington D.C. earlier in the day.

It also happened as more people – politicians and voters – question Biden’s ability to beat Donald Trump this fall.
