PATNA: A cybercrime gang was busted in Nawada district on Friday for running a fraudulent scheme that promised young men Rs 10 lakh to impregnate women. The gang, operating under the guise of “All India Pregnant Job” and “Playboy Service,” lured victims into paying a registration fee before disappearing with the money.
Police arrested two main suspects, Ranjan Kumar and Devanandan Kumar, during a raid in Manwa village under Hisua police station area. Nawada SP Abhinav Dhiman said, “The suspects were found to be operating multiple scams, including offering cheap loans through bank apps. Police seized cellphones and suspicious documents from the accused, which were used for fraudulent activities. The accused confessed to their crimes and were sent to judicial custody.”
