Taylor Swift has shared her thoughts on Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chief’s Monday night win against the New Orleans Saints.
After having missed the Kansas City Chiefs’ previous two games, the pop superstar surprised fans when she showed up at Arrowhead Stadium. This appears to be the last Chiefs game she’ll attend before the final leg of her Eras Tour kicks off on October 18 in Miami Gardens.
The “Anti-Hero” singer attended the game with her dad, Scott Swift, and watched on as the Chiefs won 26-13 to move to 5-0. Swift was inside Kelce’s box at Arrowhead Stadium alongside Chariah Gordon, the fiancée of the Chief’s wide receiver, Mecole Hardman Jr.
The two women shared their thoughts on the win, with Gordon uploading a video of their discussion to her Instagram story.
Newsweek emailed a spokesperson for Taylor Swift for comment on Tuesday.
“How do you feel after this win?” Gordon asked, to which Swift responded: “No, it’s important that you answer the question this time.”
“I think that we feel really good about this week, we are 5-0.” Gordon continued.
Swift then interjected: “Going into a bye week.”
“Going into a bye week, it is perfect,” Gordon said, with Swift agreeing. “Chiefs win and yeah, we’re doing the g****** thing.”
The two women were talking in front of a photo of Swift on the Eras Tour, which was in a frame and hung up on the wall. Once the conversation was over, Gordon zoomed in on the snap.
This isn’t the first time that Swift and Gordon have been spotted together as they support their respective partners. The duo celebrated alongside each other in a suite during the Chiefs’ Week 2 win as the team moved 2-0.
Gordon shared pictures of herself with Swift at the game to Instagram in mid-September, with the two women posing with Sheawna Weatherby, the wife of Chiefs defensive tackle Chris Jones.
“B****es clearly want my life & it’s so evident,” Gordon captioned the post.
Gordon also uploaded photos of her, Hardman Jr. with Swift and Kelce to Instagram on September 7, which was a re-creation of a viral photo the two couples took in October 2023.
After the Chiefs’ victory over the Los Angeles Chargers last season, one of Gordon’s posts included a shot of Swift kissing Kelce on the cheek.
The Chiefs’ Monday night match-up against the New Orleans Saints marks Swift’s third game of the season. Her dad has also attended Chiefs games with Swift in the past—most notably at the 2024 Super Bowl in February, during which he rocked Chiefs merch while rooting for Kelce as the tight end and star quarterback Patrick Mahomes helped the team clinch yet another Super Bowl win.
Swift’s other family members—mom Andrea Swift and brother Austin Swift—have also been at Chiefs games this season. Andrea Swift memorably embraced Travis Kelce’s mom, Donna, in a huge hug at the Chiefs’ September 15 game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Austin was also at the game—as were the singer’s close friends and fellow musicians Este and Danielle Haim.
