The hype around the top-10 matchup between Michigan and Texas is real.
Playing in the Big House, Ann Arbor hosted both ESPN’s “College GameDay” and FOX’s “Big Noon Kickoff” on Saturday in anticipation of the matchup between the No. 3 Longhorns and the No. 9 Wolverines. However, before the game even started, two of the most prominent alums from both schools stood toe-to-toe and excited the crowd at Michigan Stadium.
Former Michigan star and NFL Hall of Fame cornerback Charles Woodson stood toe-to-toe with Texas alumni Matthew McConaughey. McConaughey even flashed Michigan fans a “Hook Em” as the Wolverine faithful was booing him.
Woodson and McConaughey met near one of the end zones and stood in each other’s faces around the 10-yard line. The stand-off lasted several seconds as the fans cheered on Woodson.
