Former President Donald Trump has secured a second presidential term, defeating Vice President Kamala Harris.
Trump won more than the necessary electoral votes needed to defeat Harris, outperforming the vice president in key battleground states like Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Michigan.
In Tennessee, the former president received 64% of the vote, according to the Associated Press.
Trump’s win is considered one of the most remarkable comebacks in political history, reported USA TODAY. The win comes after he falsely claimed election fraud during the 2020 election, was convicted on felony charges and survived two assassination attempts.
