New England Patriots captain Jabrill Peppers was reportedly arrested Saturday after an altercation at a residence in Braintree.

“We are aware of an incident involving Jabrill Peppers over the weekend in which the police are currently investigating. We will have no further comment at this time,” the team said.
Peppers was arraigned in Quincy District Court Monday, where his next court date was set as Nov. 22.

The most infamous Patriots arrest is former tight-end Aaron Hernandez, who died by suicide in his jail cell in 2017. Hernandez was convicted in 2015 of killing semi-professional football player Odin Lloyd, and was acquitted in 2017 of most charges in a separate double-murder case. His life is currently being documented in a ten-episode miniseries entitled “American Sports Story: Aaron Hernandez.”
