Kickoff for Sunday night’s Dallas Cowboys-Pittsburgh Steelers game at Acrisure Stadium has been delayed due to inclement weather.
Originally scheduled to begin at 8:20 p.m. ET, the game will now kick off around 9:45 p.m. ET, according to the NBC broadcast. Players are expected to return to the field at 9:25 p.m. ET.
With severe thunderstorms and lightning in the area, players were sent off the field and fans were asked to take cover and exit the seating bowl.
Dak Prescott and the Cowboys (2-2), more than hour after originally scheduled, are facing off with Justin Fields and the Steelers (3-1) as the former looks for a second win in a row, while the latter is aiming to rebound from their first loss.
