Cook it off.
Rachael Ray brushed off concerned fans who called her out for slurring her words in a recent cooking video.
The celebrity chef took to Instagram Wednesday to share a new paella recipe, writing, “Break out the cast iron 🥘.
“It’s time to put a little pep in Wednesday night’s dinner step with a shrimp 🍤 and chorizo paella party 🎉.”
Ray, 56, advised her followers to click the link in her bio for the delicious recipe.
The “Rachael Ray” alum, however, failed to address the video where she slurred her words while recalling the time she made late singer Tony Bennett his favorite dish, Ossobuco, on Monday.
In the video, she remembered inviting the “For Once in My Life” crooner and his wife, Susan Crow, for dinner at her home before allegedly “almost [killing] him.”
“I had polished the floors in the kitchen because, well, Tony Bennett’s coming to dinner,” Ray shared. “I have to make sure the floors are perfect and the house is clean and everything is just amazing.”
The TV personality claimed she went “overboard” cleaning her floors because the Grammy winner’s chair then slipped from under him and he “hit his head” on her countertop.
She recalled Crow telling Ray that her husband would be OK — and he was.
The “Rachael Ray in Tuscany” star referred to Bennett as “the most beautiful man … ever,” emotionally saying “I miss my friend.”
Bennett died on July 21, 2023, at the age of 96 following his diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease.
Viewers disregarded Ray’s story of the “Fly Me to the Moon” singer, as several pointed out she was speaking as if she recently had gone through a health episode.
“One corner of her mouth is much lower than the other. The nurse in me would have her go into be checked for any side effect from a Stroke,” one person wrote.
“Look at her mouth,” another added. “It looks like she may be recovering from a stroke.”
“I love you but are you ok? I’m seriously concerned,” a third chimed in, as a fourth wrote, “Is she slurring or am I slurring?”
However, several others rushed to Ray’s defense, arguing she was just “aging.”
“She’s aging like the rest of us. Maybe she has a medical condition, maybe she is on medication. Regardless, no need to be mean,” one person wrote.
“My goodness, all you perfect people making the most awful, hateful comments. MOVE ALONG!” a second supporter added.
“She’s aging well the normal way no plastic surgery or doing it like every one else … get real people,” another pointed out.
“All people judging about how all this celebrity are plastic surgery breast, lip, but [sic] anything and she’s just like us again the natural way so yes this is a shock to you all … Go Rachael do your thing and thank you for showing us the real you.”
