However, Howard quickly regained his composure and successfully led his Buckeyes to the end zone twice, allowing Ohio State to take the lead in the second quarter. The Buckeyes maintained this lead as they headed into halftime.
In the second half, the game turned into a contest between the kickers, with field goals adding points to the scoreboard throughout the third and fourth quarters as both teams intensified their efforts. Ohio State’s defense successfully stopped Penn State from reaching the end zone on two critical attempts. Ultimately, the Buckeyes edged past the Nittany Lions with a 20-13 victory, keeping their College Football Playoff hopes alive.

How many teams in College Football Playoff 2024?
