Millie Bobby Brown said, “I do,” to Jake Bongiovi for the second time, wearing a bespoke Galia Lahav gown for the wedding ceremony. The couple privately wed in May, and over the weekend they hosted a multi-day wedding celebration with friends and family in Tuscany, Italy.
Brown’s bespoke wedding dress featured a structured corset bodice with an angel wing neckline and delicate floral straps. Its fit and flare style includes a pointed waistline seam and features a delicate floral pattern throughout. The French lace dress featured a long sheer train with scalloped lace edging. Stylist Ryan Young paired the look with a lace-trimmed Monvieve veil and added an overskirt for additional drama. Bongiovi wore a white tuxedo jacket with black pants and a black bowtie.
The creation of the gown was a collaborative effort with Galia Lahav’s design team. “Designing a wedding gown for such a talented actress was a true honor,” said Sharon Sever, head designer. “Millie Bobby brought depth and complexity to her iconic role in ‘Stranger Things,’ and now she brings grace and beauty to her special day in another iconic way.”
Custom designs were also crafted for Kelly Brown, Millie’s mother and Dorothea, Jon Bon Jovi’s wife and Jake’s mother.
The night before the wedding, Brown wore a 1997 Valentino dress from Happy Isles, featuring a bow-accented satin bustier, tiered skirt and high lace neckline. During the reception, Brown changed twice, wearing a white lace Oscar de la Renta halter gown for the cake cutting and a corseted Vivienne Westwood minidress for the party.
