Unai Emery was also asked about Jhon Duran’s continued impact from the substitutes’ bench for Aston Villa.
This was his fifth goal from the bench this season, with all of them contributing significantly to victories.
Emery told TNT Sports:
💬 “Most important is his commitment and his attitude with us. He has really, really changed his mind and he’s available to play 90 minutes, 60 minutes or 30 minutes and he’s been focused every minute he has played.
“Like today, we have two very good strikers and they worked. Watkins had a tough, tough match with Upamecano with a lot of duels and the last 20 minutes was very good.
