Given that Costco is closed on many of the year’s major holidays including Thanksgiving and Christmas, we reached out to the retailer to find out about Labor Day and here’s what you need to know.
Is Costco open on Labor Day 2024?
According to a spokesperson, Costco warehouses will be closed on Monday, Sept. 2, in observance of the Labor Day holiday and will reopen for business as usual on Tuesday, Sept. 3.
In addition to Labor Day, Costco is also closed on the following major holidays:
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
- New Year’s Day
- Easter Sunday
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
However, according to the Costco website, “There may be slight variations in hours for each warehouse. We recommend that you view the location information for a warehouse near you.”
Either way, it’s worthwhile to check local store hours just to confirm.
