Karnataka farmer buys ox for Rs 18 lakh | Bengaluru News

An ox, which has won cash and prizes worth nearly Rs 20 lakh in north Karnataka cart races, was bought by a Belagavi farmer for an astounding Rs 18 lakh early this week. The current rate for a well-bred ox ranges between Rs 80,000 and Rs 1.3 lakh.
Ramanagouda Patil had no intention to sell his ox, that stands 5.6ft tall, until Sadashiv Dange, another farmer offered him the price that he couldn’t refuse.
