Now that Fortnitemares has come and gone along with October and spooky season, that means it’s time for another Fortnite live event to keep you busy until the holiday season begins.
The mysterious and cryptic live event “Remix: The Prelude” is arriving to players today, Nov. 1.
According to the official Fortnite X account on Oct. 28, this new live event will have “splashes of content from the earliest seasons,” so it sounds like OG Fortnite players are in for a fun surprise.
Here’s what we know about the Fortnite live event “Remix” and how you can get playing right away.
Fortnite’s newest live event, “Remix: The Prelude,” will begin on Friday, Nov. 1, at 3:30 p.m. for Arizonans and those on the West Coast.

You can find the countdown to the live event either in the lobby or at Restored Reels.
“Remix: The Prelude” will work similarly to other Fortnite live events.
Battle Royal and Zero Build, for instance, usually go offline two hours before an event is set to begin — that’s 1:30 p.m. for Arizonans – so that the event has nothing in its way when it goes live.
As for when it will begin, the event starts at 3:30, but you’ll want to join the event at least 30 minutes before, if not sooner, in case capacity is limited, like in previous events.
According to the Fortnite Wiki page, “Remix: The Prelude is a storyline event in Fortnite’s Battle Royal and will mark the official end of Chapter 5: Season 4.
While Epic Games has been pretty secretive on what exactly is coming for this new live event, they teased on social media on Oct. 30 that a “big change is coming,” along with a photo of an iridescent butterfly.
Meanwhile, according to polygon.com, players have been excitedly sharing sneak peeks they’re finding in the game, and with that, of course, comes rumors on what could be coming to the event.
You’ll just have to wait until you log on to the event to see what all the secrecy has been about.
