Not a first when Musk said about not becoming a CEO
This is not the first time that Musk said that he has said this. In a podcast interview in 2022, Musk quoted a friend who said “starting a company is like staring into the abyss and eating glass. There was some truth to that.”
He has also shared on X that he “never wanted to be CEO – just wanted to work on product/technology. Running companies hurts my heart, but I don’t see any other way to bring technology & design to fruition.”
Elon Musk calls Linkedin ‘cringe’
In a separate news, Elon Musk attacked Microsoft-owned professional network website LinkedIn, saying this platform is “cringe”.
Reacting to user Alex Cohen who posted, “I hate LinkedIn with a passion”, Musk said, “LinkedIn is so cringe it will make your toenails curl”. Musk previously called Microsoft-backed OpenAI’s GPT-4o model “cringe”.
This sparked a lot of responses from Musk’s X followers on X.
