Kelly Clarkson channeled Beetlejuice for Halloween this year, and she nailed the look with spooky accuracy.
The singer and talk show host was unrecognizable in a behind-the-scenes video showing her and her crew preparing for the Halloween episode of “The Kelly Clarkson Show.”
Clarkson aced the Beetlejuice aesthetic from head to toe, from her grimy pinstriped suit to her incredible hair and makeup, complete with yellowing teeth and a mossy face.
“What’s up, Raya?” she joked to her staff about the dating app. “New profile pic.”
While hanging out with her band, Clarkson sang a few lines of her planned opening “Kellyoke” number for the Halloween episode, “Banana Boat (Day-O),” which is famously featured in the movie’s dinner table possession scene.
Her entire band got in on the Beetlejuice theme, dressing up as different characters from the 1988 horror comedy, including Lydia Deetz, played by Winona Ryder in the movie, and Adam, played by Alec Baldwin.
The band also paid tribute to some memorable characters from the Netherworld, including the deceased football player and Harry the Hunter.
Guests Reba McEntire and boyfriend Rex Linn also joined in the fun as Delia Deetz, who was played by Catherine O’Hara in the original movie, and Danny DeVito’s creepy janitor character in this year’s sequel, “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.”
The crew decked out Clarkson’s entire set in elaborate Beetlejuice decorations, re-creating the model town of Winter River and the Office of the Undead.
Also spotted on the set was a model of Baby Beetlejuice climbing up some hanging chains, a nod to the cult classic’s 2024 version.
Clarkson has a history of channeling iconic Halloween movie characters in her themed “Kellyoke” segments.
In 2020, she dressed up as Madeline Ashton, Meryl Streep’s character from 1992’s “Death Becomes Her,” and in 2019, she transformed into Winifred Sanderson, Bette Midler’s character from “Hocus Pocus.”
