Frank Fritz of ‘American Pickers’ Passes Away at 60 Years Old

Frank Fritz, one of the founders of LeClaire’s Antique Archaeology and member of American Pickers, has passed away at the age of 60, according to the Quad City Times.

Frank was recognized around the nation because of the History Channel show that spawned from the shop in LeClaire that he worked in with Mike Wolfe.

In 2022, it was reported that Frank suffered a stroke, and had since been recovering. The Quad City Times reported that Frank spent the past few months in a Quad Cities area hospice facility.

According to a post in his fan group on Facebook by admin Annette Oberland Willows, Mike Wolfe was able to make it back from Nashville in time to be there with Frank.

This is a very tough announcement to make Frank passed away last night around 7:30 he was surrounded by myself Mike Wolfe made a high speed to get back here from Nashville and other friends. Please understand this is a very rough time for us. Including Mike so be kind as we are trying to figure out how to cope with this. Thank you all for your love and support through the years.

The past few years, since his departure from American Pickers, Frank operated Frank Fritz Finds in Savanna, which is a collection of sprawling buildings that shows off cool finds he found during the time of Pickers and on his own.

Frank was 60.
