Nine Barça Atlètic players’ contracts end

2024-07-01 02:55:02

June 30 is the final day of the contract for the Barça Atlètic players Pau Víctor, Moha, Pelayo, Marc Vidal, Naim, Cuéllar, Iker Goujon, Josep Cerdà and Saïdou Bah, meaning their time with the FC Barcelona development side has come to an end.

The Club appreciates their commitment and professionalism, and wishes them all the best in their future sporting and personal endeavours.

Loan periods end

Pau Víctor, Moha, Marc Vidal, Naim and Cuéllar all return to their parent clubs after a superb season with Barça Atlètic.

Pau Víctor ended as division top scorer with 20 goals, helping propel the development side to a promotion play-off final finish. The Catalan forward played 39 games.

Both on loan from FC Andorra, Moha and Marc Vidal both captained and played very important roles for Barça Atlètic this season. Moha started 40 games, scoring two goals, while Marc Vidal played 25 games.

Cuéllar returns to CD Lugo after playing 27 games and scoring one goal while on loan to Barça Atlètic.

Naim arrived in the winter transfer window on loan from Leganés. He played 16 games, scoring four goals, and was an important part of the team until injury before the play-offs curtailed his involvement.

Blaugrana stay comes to an end

Pelayo Fernández is leaving after 5 seasons as part of the youth set up. The Asturian central defender joined the U19B side in the summer of 2019 from CD Quirinal. His stay comes to an end after two seasons and 18 games with Barça Atlètic.

End of contract

Iker Goujon will no longer pull on the blaugrana shirt as the Catalan forward’s contract has ended. Unlucky with injuries, his time on the pitch was limited this season, but he still managed to play five games, scoring one goal.

Return from loan as contract ends

Josep Cerdà and Saïdou Bah both return from their respective loans at Ponferradina and CD Badajoz as their contracts with the Club expire.

Cerdà joined the U19B side from Constancia for the 2019/20 season, and his time as a blaugrana draws to a conclusion after five seasons. Saïdou Bah joined as an U10 in the 2011/12 season and after progressing through every youth category at FC Barcelona, plus two consecutive loans at Olot and CD Badajoz, the player’s time at the Club has ended.
