BHOPAL: No stranger to controversy, with 105 criminal cases registered against him, former BJP leader and sitting Telangana MLA, T Raja Singh, created a flutter with a fresh verbal salvo on Tuesday saying those refusing to sing ‘Vande Mataram‘ were not welcome in the country.Addressing a Hindu Garjana rally organised to mark the birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Mahara, in Chhindwara, on Tuesday, the firebrand MLA alleged that illegal Bangladeshis and Pakistanis were ‘hiding’ in the country. Invoking the recent circular put out by the Home ministry, mandating the singing of the national song before the national anthem, the legislator threatened use of force against those refusing to sing ‘Vande Mataram’.Calling for Bangladeshi and Pakistani infiltrators to be ‘kicked out’, Raja said they should have the freedom to take matters into their hands if the demand isn’t met, adding that there should be “no case and no FIR”.
