Nazriya Nazim and Fahadh Faasil are among the most admired couples in the Malayalam film industry, and their relationship has always fascinated fans, even though they rarely reveal too many personal details in public.In an early chat with The Hollywood Reporter, Nazriya spoke about the differences in their personalities and how those contrasts actually strengthen their relationship.Nazriya Nazim says there is a balanceDuring the interview, Nazriya was asked whether it helps that she is more extroverted while Fahadh is often perceived as an introvert.Nazriya explained that Fahadh is very different at home compared to how people usually perceive him. According to her, their personalities complement each other, creating a balance in their relationship.She said, “He is not at all an introvert at home! But this works because there are days when we choose to be introverts and extroverts! There is a balance. According to him, when there are more than seven people in a room, that’s a big party. But if you ask his friends, they will tell you he is not an introvert. He will always be a storyteller and narrate stories when we are around.”
When characters follow him home
Nazriya also spoke humorously about how Fahadh’s intense film roles sometimes influence his mood after shooting. However, Nazriya joked that she ensures he does not bring those characters home anymore.She shared, “He doesn’t have the option to come home with (his characters) anymore. We have reached this middle ground now. If he comes home like Shammi (Kumbalangi Nights), he will get it from me.”
Nazriya Nazim on husband’s ADHD diagnosis
Nazriya has also spoken openly about Fahadh’s ADHD diagnosis and how it has shaped their understanding of each other. In an earlier interview with Manorama Online, she revealed that many of his personality traits were already familiar to her before the diagnosis.She explained that living together had already helped her understand and adapt to his behavior over time.Nazriya said, “Fahadh has ADHD, but I started living with Shanu (Fahadh) even before we were aware of his condition. I had been accustomed to his personality traits for quite some time, and they naturally became a part of our lives. Knowing about the condition now has made me a bit more patient, but beyond that, nothing in our life has changed.”Fahadh himself had earlier revealed that he was diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder at the age of 41. He shared this information during an event at Peace Valley Children’s Village.On the professional front, Nazriya recently made her comeback with the mystery drama ‘Sookshmadarshini.’
