Bhagyashree’s social media is nothing less than a treasure trove for foodies. Be it her gastronomical adventures on travel escapades or her simple culinary tales, Bhagyashree often regales us with her passion for food. Well, the Maine Pyar Kiya star is back with another foodie page in her healthy eating diary. Bhagyashree has blessed us with glimpses of her “Sunday Salad.” On Sunday, June 23, the actress dropped a video of what looks like Thai noodle salad on her Instagram Stories. The clip shows a noodle bed topped with sliced avocados, bell peppers, carrots, edible flowers, chopped beans, and ground nuts. It was all tempered with sesame seeds. Sharing the clip, she simply wrote, “Sunday Salad.”

Earlier, Bhagyashree taught us a mouthwatering preparation of chatpata chana that left us longing for a taste. She shared a video on her Instagram, wherein she expressed, “Aaj bada mann kiya… kuch mirch masale ki chatpati cheez khaye… lekin jo swadisht hone ke saath saath healthy bhi ho [Today, I had a craving for something spicy, which is healthy as well].”
Talking about the recipe Bhagyashree wrote, “So here’s a quick recipe of kala chana. I soaked them the night before and boiled them in salt water. With one tablespoon of ghee, I put in some jeera, and hing and saute the chana. (The ghee adds the flavour). Then put in some chillies (you can also add red chilli powder), dhaniya, jeera powder, some amchur and salt. Enjoyed it hot… tasted yummm and that was my protein meal too.”
Before this, Bhagyashree showed her mother’s recipe of “Gonde ka achaar”. She shared a video on her Instagram Stories, showing her mother preparing the flavourful pickle. The clip shows Bhagyashree’s mother filling a spice mix with boiled gum berries. In the video, the actress can be heard saying, “Mummy’s summer speciality, goonde ka achaar.” Next up, Bhagyashree asks her mother about the ingredients she has added to the spice mix.

To this, her mother says that she has added hing, turmeric, red chilli powder, methi, chane ki dal, kalonji and salt to taste. After filling all the boiled gum berries with the spice mix, Bhagyashree’s mother stores it all in a glass jar and then tops it with hot oil. Read all about it here.
